Our client for this project is a globally renowned company specialising in automated robotic cells from packaging, depalletizing and welding.

This company are leaders in providing data driven and robotic solutions, setting new standards in warehouse automation and packaging solutions.

Project Overview

The automated sector withing manufacturing and warehousing has continued to rapidly grow in Australia. Jarlam Electrics has been given the opportunity to work with some of the leaders in the sector and awarded a green field installation in Victoria which included 7 robotic palletising cells packaging a variety of different products.

Solution

Jarlam Electrics has extensive experience when working with OEM suppliers and understands the level of detail required to liaise with both on shore and offshore stakeholders and suppliers in order to deliver the system to both the OEM’s standard as well as Australian Standards.

Jarlam Electrics working alongside their client where able to successfully install a 7 cell robotic packaging solution whilst the facility was still manufacturing product and manually packaging.

The Jarlam Electrics team coordinated all prewiring of all of the robot tools, controllers and on board automation equipment while a separate team prepared the electrical control cabinets, cable trays and power / control wiring.

Once the packaging Robots and Cells had been erected onsite this enabled the full team of experienced Electricians and Apprentices’ to install and terminate all power, control cabling and electrical safety equipment for all packaging cells, electrical test as per AS:3000 and assist the OEM in commissioning the entire system.
